Virtues and Strengths

Virtue (Latin virtus; Greek) is moral excellence. A virtue is a character trait or quality valued as being always good in and of itself.

Personal virtues are characteristics valued as promoting individual and collective well being.

We are currently validating a Dutch version of the VIA. In addition, we use the VIA to give participants of our intervention studies feedback about their most important strengths. They are consequently asked to use their strengths at work in a new way.
