Social Psychology of Work engagement


The social psychology of work engagement refers to all the interpersonal processes involved in engagement, including emotional contagion, role modeling, resource exchange, fast and slow leadership, and work-to-family facilitation - to name only a few. In this short video, I discuss the phenomenon of emotional contagion, in which work engagement may cross over from one employee to others in a nonconscious way.
